Experience: Headed by a seasoned executive chef, our full-time catering staff is not only recognized state-wide, but has earned respect throughout the Southeast for its culinary expertise.

Versatility: One of the greatest advantages of the Macon Centreplex is our flexibility in handling a wide range of occasions. From corn dogs and Coors to Teriyaki tofu and filtered water from a Tibetan spring...from a party of five to a banquet for more than 2,000... from a formal black-tie affair to a casual boots and blue jeans buffet ...just place your order!

Professional Service/Personal Touch: We'll do whatever it takes to add that special touch and to give your banquet or event at the Centreplex its very own personality. Some of the "extras" we offer our customers are custom-made menus, table decorations, flowers and beautiful ice sculptures.

Other Services...

  • Event Coordination: Once you've spoken to our booking staff and have your space contracted at the Macon Centreplex, we'll turn you over to our experienced event coordinators. These dedicated employees will work right along beside you to make sure our facility meets all your needs. You may reach your event coordinator at 912-751-9152.
  • Marketing and Promotions: If you're promoting a public event, our marketing department will be happy to assist you at whatever level you desire .... from simple advice on which media outlets will best reach your target audiences to actually purchasing your advertising space through the facility's own in-house agency.
  • Audiovisual: Most anything you need in the audiovisual line can be supplied from either our in-house inventory or local contractors at very reasonable prices. All you have to do is ask!
  • Business Center: Our facility's business center, located in the Edgar H. Wilson Convention Centre, is fully equipped for those needing to make copies or send/receive faxes.
  • Concessions: The Macon Centreplex has 11 concession stands located throughout the facility for service to attendees of public and large events. Specifically, there are 7 stands in the Coliseum, 3 in the Convention Centre and 1 in the City Auditorium.
  • Security: Security services are provided in-house through the Macon Police Department. Contact your event coordinator for more information.
  • Marquees: The Centreplex has two outdoor, electronic marquees which publicize upcoming events at the Centreplex. Special welcomes to meeting attendees can be programmed upon request.
  • Telephones: Centreplex facilities have public phone banks available for use by attendees and visitors. Private phone service can also be arranged through the Centreplex and Southern Bell. Contact your event coordinator for more information.
  • Load-In: The Centreplex has a total of 3 drive-in ramps and 6 loading docks to make load-in and load-out a snap.
  • Parking: Finding a place to park at the Macon Centreplex is usually not a problem as the facility has a 2,300-space paved and lighted parking lot!
